Old Trafford’s Circus Night…
Gather round, lads and lasses, for the grand ol’ spectacle at Old Trafford, where Manchester United will juggle flaming footballs that smell of cartoonish adventure against the tricky French jokers, Lyon. The heroic Reds are knotted at 2-2 after last week’s battle royale in France, where Rayan Cherki became Lyon’s last-minute Houdini with his magical equalizer, poofing away Joshua Zirkzee’s illusions of a win!
After meeting their match at the Toon Army circus at St James’ Park — a 4-1 slapstick — United’s master ringmaster, Ruben Amorim, threw all his juggling balls in the air and even changed five flaming torches just to outshine a tremendous threat from Lyon. Andre Onana, meanwhile, returns to guard the three-ringed goal show, eager to make amends for his earlier clumsy clown stumble with oopsy-doopsies against Lyon. Maguire might march in, bold as a brass band, to the heart of United’s defensive orchestra, accompanied by his sidekicks, Mazraoui and Yoro.
