Young Star Heaven Takes a Tumble…
Manchester United fans are biting their nails as young Ayden Heaven’s injury status is still up in the air. The 18-year-old rising star made an early exit during Sunday’s delightful 3-0 win against Leicester City. After a dramatic tango with Patson Daka, medics from both sides rushed in for an unscheduled meet-and-greet, stretcher in tow. But, lo and behold, Ayden straddled out of King Power Stadium like a cowboy—booted foot and all, but sans crutches. Yee-haw!
In only his second club escapade after a transfer from Arsenal, Heaven has already become the zen master of United’s defense. During the post-match press conference, boss Ruben Amorim channeled his inner philosopher, confessing, “Ayden’s a young chap; he probably thinks sprain is today’s special at a cafe!” But he promptly reassured fans that the lad was “more calm now,” leaving us all hoping for a speedy comeback.
To soothe his fan base, Heaven chirped on Instagram: “Thanks, folks! Quick like Usain, I’m healing fast!” Meanwhile, expert Physio Scout played doctor, guessing the injury flavors: minor sprain to something scarier, giving a recovery menu ranging from 1 to 10 weeks. Elsewhere, half of United seem to be on a group vacation to Injury Island, including Lisandro Martinez and Luke Shaw. Cheer up, folks; always look on the bright side!
