Wales’ U19 Wins, But Biancheri Steals the Show!…
In an exciting twist in the European Under-19 scene, Wales ended their qualifying campaign with a cheeky 3-1 victory over Turkey. After getting a bit of a football thumping from England and Portugal, Wales decided to spice things up in Rhyl. Super striker Gabriele Biancheri, representing Manchester United, played a magical game, scoring the second goal of the match. After Turkey evened things up following Freddie Issaka’s opener, Biancheri cheekily tapped the ball into an empty net, giving Wales the lead once again.
This was the 18-year-old’s ninth goal in 11 cheeky adventures with the Welsh Under-19 crew. With 29 goals across club and country this season, Biancheri is on a scoring spree that even the most hardened defenders fear! His impressive tally includes goals in almost every tournament known to teenage footballers and you’d think he was scoring when brushing his teeth!
Although his teammate Chido Obi has played with the big boys, Biancheri is looking to crash the adult party himself pretty soon. With Ruben Amorim’s eyes on the youngsters, Biancheri might soon be packing his boots for global dreams, eyeing a pre-season tour in the USA and maybe one day gracing the World Cup stage!
