Former Manchester United whiz-kid, Mason “Can-Score-from-Anywhere” Greenwood, has been spotted sprinting around British grass like a turbo-charged gazelle! This after his marvellous escapade across the Channel with Marseille, where the man was banging in goals like a caffeine-fuelled pinball machine.
The football whispers say he’s been seen galloping at Chadderton FC’s illustrious plastic carpet, presumably trying not to confuse it with a trampoline! As if that wasn’t enough, he teamed up with old United pal D’Mani “The Mellor Melodrama” Mellor, and the duo reminisced about their cosmic adventures — like that time they astoundingly lost to Astana. Who needs the UEFA Champions League when you have the memories of a heartfelt defeat?
And can we just talk about his scoring escapades in France? Apparently, he hit the back of the net so often, even French goalkeepers started saying “Non, merci!” Greenwood’s goals were so many that he became rivals with none other than the wizard Ousmane Dembele.
