Old Trafford’s shirts need new names—and fast
Manchester United reported a £4.8m drop in sponsorship income for the first quarter, mainly due to the £24m Tezos training-kit deal ending. Their sleeve deal with DXC Technology, worth £20m a year, also runs out soon. The club insists a ‘strong pipeline’ of partners is waiting.
Let’s hope the next sponsor fills the shirt quicker than a winger down the flank—because right now, the sleeves are doing more waiting than defending.
