From Winger Woes to Defensive Pro…

Patrick Dorgu, Manchester United’s newest recruit, is proving that he’s not just a one-trick pony. The 20-year-old Danish charmer has wiggled his way into Denmark’s squad for an intense Nations League face-off against Portugal. After moving from Lecce to Old Trafford for a jaw-dropping ÂŁ25 million, Dorgu’s shown he’s not afraid to swap his dance shoes for some defensive boots, catching the eye of Denmark’s national team coach, Brian Riemer.

Riemer, once skeptical of Dorgu’s ability to tackle anything other than a pizza, was pleasantly surprised. In Lecce, Dorgu pranced around more like a winger than a wall, but United’s magic has him shapeshifting into a defender. With five appearances at United under his belt, he’s even managed to pull off a debut stunt on the right, although sticking mostly to his left wing-back role. It’s no wonder Riemer said, “He’s become my defensive Prince Charming!”

Dorgu’s adopted a new hobby – analyzing opponents under a microscope, proving he can do it all, defense and dance. Unfortunately, a little tiff with Ipswich has him grounded domestically for Leicester City’s visit. But fear not, he’s ready to rock against Real Sociedad in the Europa League showdown. Keep twirling, Dorgu!
