McClaren’s Island Adventure with Greenwood…

Steve McClaren is dreaming of a reggae reunion as he’s constantly chatting with former Red Devil, Mason Greenwood, and his family. After waving goodbye to the Manchester United bench this summer, Greenwood skipped across to Getafe via a snazzy ÂŁ26.6 million ticket. Meanwhile, McClaren left his role as assistant coach and sailed on to become the captain of Jamaica’s football ship.

With a passport potentially getting inked with Jamaican stamps, Greenwood could soon be donning the famous Reggae Boyz jersey. The chatter was all around how Greenwood, who left an Icelandic stamp in England’s books during a Nations League match in 2020, is now about to switch teams. The esteemed Football Association boss, Mark Bullingham, also texted in to say, “Greenwood’s switching sides like he’s changing DJs.”

BBC gossip says paperwork is still bouncing around the Jamaican Football Federation like a beach ball, leaving Greenwood out of sight for the upcoming Concacaf Gold Cup qualifiers. Regardless, McClaren is surfing on confidence waves, tipping his sunglasses and saying, “He’s all in for Jamaica – the ball’s in his court now!”
