Young Obi Spurs United’s Secret Grin…

When it comes to being awesome and just a tad bit show-off-y, Manchester United’s teenage sensation Chido Obi takes the crown – and Denmark’s Under-21 coach knows it, because he’s been eavesdropping on some juicy Manchester gossip! Word out of Carrington is that Obi, who’s just five years past learning his ABCs, was promoted to the top-tier scrimmage setting thanks to his prolific goal-scoring prowess at the academy level. Since then, he’s been popping up on the bench like a seasoned selfie-pro in United’s recent matches.

The kid almost turned Fulham’s FA Cup dreams into a Danish pastry by nearly scoring, and he’s kept the pressure on the likes of Arsenal and Leicester. Although United boss Ruben Amorim and his merry men skated past Leicester with a 3-0 win, the international break knocks and Obi’s been snapped up by Denmark’s U21 squad like it’s going out of fashion!

Steffen Højer, Denmark’s manager and part-time Chido Obi fan club president, shared the scoop: “United’s assistant coach whispers that Obi trains like a terrier on espresso.” With a build as sturdy as Great Dane and a shot as strong as an espresso, Obi’s racking up those minutes for a reason. You’ve gotta respect a 17-year-old daring the big gigs. Scandinavian cool, anyone?
