Hojlund Praises Amorim, Recalls Ten Hag Days…

Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund is as excited as a kid in a candy store about Ruben Amorim’s plans at Old Trafford. Swapping coaches can be tricky, like wearing odd socks, and Amorim’s transition hasn’t been without its quirks, especially with his 3-4-2-1 jigsaw puzzle that players are still figuring out. Yet, the Red Devils are seeing rainbows, hoping Ruben’s magic touch will lead them to future glory, preferably before their new stadium is ready to open in 2030!

While savoring the current football flavors, Hojlund fondly reminisced about Erik ten Hag, his former football chef, whose special dish, unfortunately, didn’t quite win the crowd over. Hojlund still thanks Ten Hag for giving him the United experience but praises Amorim as a “cool dude.” Last Sunday, Hojlund finally brought his goal-scoring touch back, ending a 21-game dry spell with a delightful goal against Leicester City.

Proving that even superheroes need sidekicks, Hojlund shares how Peter Schmeichel, the legendary Danish brick wall in goal, occasionally gives him pep talks – not so much a father figure, more like a Danish football Yoda. With the likes of Christian Eriksen helping him along, Hojlund is embracing camaraderie while making his own path at Old Trafford.
