The mischievous red imps from Old Trafford have opened the gates to their enchanted academic fortress, allowing 12 eager apprentices to enter the illustrious realm of Manchester United’s academy for the 2025/26 season. Sporting suits sharper than a ninja’s sword, these young hopefuls were shown off in a grand ceremony that twinkled under the ancient glow of Old Trafford’s stadium lights. Rumor has it, Sir Alex himself blinked down from a cloud!
With the Head Honcho of Hogwarts, uh, Academy, Nick Cox, and grand wizard of the under-21s, Travis Binnion, flanking him, Tom Heaton—one-time graduate turned wise old sage—cast his spell of wisdom over the gleaming rookies. He instilled the gospel of football enchantment, urging them to glean skills faster than a Bludger in a Quidditch match. These young sprites were reminded to grasp opportunity with both feet!
Whilst being presented with club blazers imbued with the essence of United, these fledgling firecrackers of football also received the holy scripture—‘Football, Taught By Matt Busby’. Written by Wayne Barton, it contains mystical tales of club identity, and whispers of legendary matches. And thus, these dozen daring prodigies step forth, ready to wrangle titles like King Arthur with Excalibur and dance their magic upon the world’s greenest stages!
