Manchester United’s Transfer Moves…

Benjamin Sesko might have to play a game of musical chairs with his jersey at Manchester United, where it seems someone forgot to reserve his favorite number! With a bid of €75m (£65.3m) plus €10m (£8.7m) in add-ons, United are hoping to add this Slovenian powerhouse to their frontline. Yet, in a twist fit for a comedy, the number 30 shirt he adores is currently occupied by Diego Leon, the new kid on the block from Cerro Porteno. Poor Sesko might need more negotiation skills than a cat persuading a dog to share its bone!

Meanwhile, Newcastle is teasing Sesko with the historic number nine, worn by the legendary Alan Shearer. But Sesko has his compass pointed at Old Trafford, reminiscent of a moth that can’t resist a bulb! Ruben Amorim is busy steering the Manchester United ship and is enforcing a policy of honesty and responsibility. With a leadership group that went from two to six, it’s starting to look like a lineup for a reality TV show rather than a football club. Surely, it’s not long before these meetings will include popcorn and a little more drama!
