Scott McTominay Tries to Woo Hojlund to Napoli…
Scott McTominay, formerly of Manchester United, is reportedly pulling a Tom Cruise in ‘Jerry Maguire’ shouting ‘show me the money’ in an effort to lure Rasmus Hojlund to Napoli just before the transfer window slams shut like an over-dramatic soap opera door! With Benjamin Sesko’s arrival, Hojlund has been benched more times than a forgotten umbrella in a summer downpour, so Napoli has its sights set on him. United is open to letting Hojlund go for a tidy £30 million, and McTominay’s trying to convince him to swap damp Manchester for sunny Naples.
Rumor has it that McTominay, who’s been basking in the Italian sun since last summer like a lizard on a hot rock, phoned Hojlund with his best sales pitch. Now, that’s a long-distance call we all want to hear! United and Napoli are exchanging notes like students cramming before the deadline, with talks of a £4.3 million loan deal leading to a future purchase of £34.6 million. Meanwhile, McTominay’s enjoying his time in Italy, scoring goals and probably considering a career in tourism as he’s already got Hojlund halfway to booking a ticket to Naples!
