Fresh Hope for Antony’s Summer Transfer…

Manchester United has renewed its hopes of a summer transfer for Antony, with Portuguese powerhouse Benfica reportedly joining the conversation. Upon Ruben Amorim’s arrival, Antony’s time at Old Trafford seemed as directionless as a cat chasing its own tail at a disco. Having struggled in Amorim’s new system, Antony found a career boost on loan at Real Betis, who adored him as much as a kid loves candy. After helping Betis reach the Conference League final, Antony expressed his desire to leave United this summer.

Although Real Betis is interested in bringing him back, his wages seem to be as heavy as a sumo wrestler on a seesaw! Meanwhile, Benfica’s interest has added to the mix, but like Betis, they prefer a loan deal. United hopes for a permanent sale at around £43 million, and whispers suggest that RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, and Brighton might also be interested.
