Hold onto your hats, footie fans — Bruno “The Oracle” Fernandes has gazed into his crystal ball and proclaimed Bryan “Magical Mbeumo” will soon be the next wonderkid in the Red Dragon’s den! Yes, indeed, after Mbeumo tangoed onto the pitch for Man United during their US pre-season shindig against Everton, Bruno declared these famous words: “First of many!” That’s right! Poor Brentford waved goodbye after what felt like a marathon negotiation as if they were trying to sell a vintage football card made out of solid gold.
Our speedy newcomer Mbeumo didn’t pry the ball away from any defenders to score an epic debut screamer. Instead, he made his debut with the elegance of a cat tip-toeing across a room full of rocking chairs, joining football chum Matheus Cunha up front. Although he had to vanish at halftime, he’s giddy as a kid on a roller coaster, posting on Insta: “US Tour done.
