He thinks some players are as pricey as gold-plated goalposts and not quite worth it! He’s got his eyes on Luke Shaw who, according to Ratcliffe, hasn’t offered much bang for all those bucks.
Luke Shaw’s comeback is shaping up to be more like a broken record than a hit single. Still, it’s hard to fault him; he’s been through more returns than a boomerang. With just three matches in 13 months, Shaw surely needs a miracle to charm Mr. Ratcliffe into forgetting how many zeros are in his paycheck!
