United Scouts Pursue South American Talent…
Manchester United are planning for a bright future with scouts reportedly on the hunt for a formidable striker. The team seems eager for more action before September 1 when the transfer window closes, considering they’ve already signed three new players in this window. Among them is Benjamin Sesko, who joined forces with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo at Old Trafford. In a move akin to finding a unicorn at a petting zoo, they’ve set their sights on South America’s rising star, Ricardo Mathias of Internacional. According to reports, Mathias, aged 19, has scored five goals in 18 appearances and is drawing attention across the Premier League with a whopping £56.2m release clause tethered to his talent.
Man United scouts recently watched Mathias in a match against Fluminense that ended in a 1-1 draw, ensuring the boy was not, in fact, an alien in disguise. Meanwhile, the signing of Sesko gives United a quartet of center forwards alongside Rasmus Hojlund, Joshua Zirkzee, and Chido Obi. But like trying to catch a greased pig, holding onto Hojlund might be tricky as AC Milan shows interest. United previously explored South America to sign Diego Leon from Cerro Porteno, proving they’re on more of a global heist than a shopping spree this summer.
