Danny Welbeck thinks Carlos Baleba is a future star, and just in time—Manchester United is showing interest in signing the midfield wunderkind. Head coach Ruben Amorim must be collecting midfielders like they’re limited edition superhero action figures. Fresh from splashing out £62.5 million for Matheus Cunha and £71 million for Bryan Mbeumo, the Red Devils have their eyes now on Baleba, who has dazzled at Brighton & Hove Albion. Welbeck praises Baleba as “unstoppable,” which means he has more potential energy than my attempt at stopping a runaway shopping cart filled with bricks.

So, learning from their past, they might charge a comparable price, while United sees it as more of a £70 million meal deal.
