Man United Smiles, Forest Frets Over Wood…
Looks like Manchester United just got their lucky horseshoe back! Nottingham Forest’s star striker, Chris Wood, is suffering from the dreaded “Oops-I-Fell-On-My-Hip” syndrome. The poor guy tumbled during an international match, leaving him sidelined for Forest’s upcoming FA Cup clash against Brighton and maybe even missing the smackdown against United! Chris is the dude who caused United a world of hurt back in December with a winning goal at Old Trafford, so his potential absence is like a winning lottery ticket for the Red Devils.
The man from Down Under has been Forest’s knight in shining armor, netting 18 goals in 29 appearances. But alas, it seems he won’t be charging onto the battlefield anytime soon. Forest’s manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, is playing the waiting game with scan results. Let’s just hope Chris is okay and not contemplating a career as a hip-hop dancer.
Meanwhile, it’s all smiles in the United camp. They’ve got not one, not two, but FIVE players back in training, including Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire. As they waltz into the City Ground, they’ve got the wind at their backs and a spring in their step! So, grab some popcorn and let the Premier League drama unfold.
