Cunha Walks Freely Despite Injury Concerns…
Manchester United’s new gem, Matheus Cunha, gave fans a dose of relief after limping off in the 3-2 win over Burnley. Although he has yet to strike gold in the goal department, Cunha brought sunshine to Old Trafford when footage showed him strolling more casually than a catwalk model outside the stadium! However, the excitement was short-lived as Cunha withdrew from Brazil’s squad, amplifying concerns. Ruben Amorim, the mastermind who seemed like he misplaced a treasure chest, shared his worries about Cunha and Mason Mount, both hobbling after facing Scott Parker’s crew. “They are crucial for us, so we’ll see,” he said.
Amorim might have squeaked a little delight upon seeing Cunha’s Instagram post on Tuesday, though. In it, Cunha seemed more enthusiastic than a puppy with a new squeaky toy, promising a quick return! “What an incredible environment, it’s great to be here,” read his joyful message. With arch-rivals Manchester City waiting on the horizon post-international break, fans hope Cunha bounces back quicker than toast from a brand-new toaster. If not, Sesko or Mainoo might step in as the Reds prepare to tango with City at the Etihad.
