Manchester United Signs Belgian Keeper…

Manchester United has shaken hands with Royal Antwerp for the ÂŁ18.2 million transfer of Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens. The 23-year-old, said to have reflexes faster than a cat dodging water, is heading to Manchester to ink a five-year deal before the 7pm deadline. United believes Lammens is the goalkeeper of tomorrow, setting their sights on him instead of Emiliano Martinez. Although his role as United’s No.1 isn’t settled, manager Ruben Amorim humorously suggests being United’s keeper is tougher than a math test on a rollercoaster!

With six goals conceded this season—four attributed to goalkeeping blunders—from duo Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana, United fans might soon need therapy sessions to soothe their nerves. Onana’s future is as clear as a foggy morning, even after missing out on Emiliano Martinez. Despite United considering Martinez, they sealed the deal with Lammens. Onana was benched in the recent 3-2 win against Burnley, proving a United goalie’s job might be harder than herding cats during a thunderstorm!
